Everything you'd want in a mechanic: prompt, knowledgeable, communicative, and they get it right the first time. Friendly as can be and really easy to set up an appointment. Their online system shows you pictures of the issues and allows you to pay invoices. Can't recommend them enough

The whole experience was fast and easy! I got everything I needed done in a day. The staff was great. Professional communication and follow up with what my vehicle needed. In this case, it was replacing my rear brakes. They send photos via text of your car's status, a detailed receipt of the work done and an easy online checkout as soon as they were done - which was super convenient. It's our new go-to place for our cars. We're so glad to have a good local shop nearby!

Consistency, consistency, consistency. The Motorpool Automotive Team is always there to assist me whether I have something going wrong with a vehicle, or just a regular maintenance visit. They are always thorough, making sure everything is working 100%, and give me updates on items that have wear, like brakes, tires, etc. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a “trustworthy mechanic” in the Campbell/San Jose area.

Exemplary Service. They have been performing maintenance on my Prius for close to 7 years now. It’s a 2008 model w/ 150k+ miles. It needs a little TLC from time to time. They’ve been incredibly efficient and upfront about all cost and repairs. Making it easy to prioritize what needs to be done and keep my Prius running smoothly.

I visited this location today for repairs because I’m impressed by the outstanding reviews, but I didn’t feel comfortable using their method of filling out a request slip and leaving my car without speaking to a representative. I went to another auto repair shop where I could talk to someone about my car. If there were a receptionist present, I would have had Motorpool service my vehicle. Not sure if this is the norm for Motorpool’s business, and if not, they should share the hours customers can meet with a representative in person.

dealerships aren’t a ripoff lady, they have technicians who are trained and sent to class year round learning the product. rather have a kid who probably didn’t even graduate workin at a jiffy lube or any express oil change shop or come to the dealership where they have seasoned/educated people working on your vehicle. just sayin’

Avoid this place. Worst experience ever. I took my car for an oil change because I wanted to avoid the rip off at the dealership. My, I would have been better off at the dealership or at the Jiffy Lube. When I called to make the appointment I had asked the person who answered how much time it would take for an oil change, as I needed to pick up my kids from school and I was on a rush. He said it would not take longer than an hour. They took 2.5 hours (for an oil change!) In addition they charged me about $30 dollars more than the quote they had given me by phone. They argued it was the CA fees.... In the midst of the service they sent me the new quote by phone and the only reason I accepted it was because it came with a full inspection. Lo and behold, no full inspection was given. But the worst part of it was that when I complained to the owner about the time it took to change the oil and the lack of the full inspection, instead of apologizing he just said that he was the manager and his employee was not at fault. He was terribly aggressive and started shouting at me like a bully. I said I would write a review on yelp detailing the dishonesty and terrible service. And what does the guy do? He then goes and threatens me with defamation lawsuit. Pretty pathetic. I missed my dealership after this experience. That should tell you all.

We have outstanding reviews for a reason. When an aggressive person becomes unruly towards our employees, we defend ourselves. Just because you yell and scream and act like a child does not mean you’re always going to get your way. When you pulled up, you saw that our driveway was completely full; you pushed, and you pushed, and you pushed but there was no pushing other cars out of the way to make your experience faster. But you thought by being persistent and aggressive, that was the appropriate way to handle the situation, well you were wrong! And I’ll never apologize for for protecting my employee against an aggressive human being like you! Being a pushy person will not always get you your way, there’s going to be people who stand up to you and say no!! Don’t come back!
